What is special about Rolex's Zenith movement? Before the Daytona was equipped with Rolex's own in-house caliber 4130, the model was powered by several external movements - including the legendary Zenith El Primero. The movement was produced by Zenith and subsequently modified by Rolex according to their own specifications. Since these models are no longer produced, the Zenith Daytona is now among the most coveted collector's items on the market.
